Children Left Behind

The migration of parents affects children deeply, creating emotional, physical, and learning challenges that demand our attention and support.

The Impact

Children left behind face emotional trauma, developmental delays, and educational challenges when parents migrate abroad for work.

Many experience psychological distress, poor academic performance, and social isolation that can affect their entire future.

Our Response

UOMU provides comprehensive support including bursaries, scholastic materials, and regular school monitoring to ensure children don't fall behind.

We offer counseling services and create support networks to help children cope with parental absence and maintain healthy development.
