Anti-Trafficking Combat
Reduce human traffickers of Ugandans in modern slavery. We combat forced labour, withheld passports, wage theft, and all forms of exploitation through tracking, documentation, and reporting to authorities.
Safe & Healthy Returns
Assist Ugandans in diaspora to return home safe and healthy. We track migrants through hospitals, police cells, prisons, streets, and private accommodations, coordinating emergency repatriation when needed.

Anti-Illegal Migration Policy
Reduce Ugandans being trafficked through illegal channels. We advocate for policy reform, work with non-registered agencies, and strengthen legal frameworks to protect migrants from exploitation.
Government & NGO Collaboration
Work with Ugandan government, international organisations, and NGOs to strengthen support systems for diaspora. We amplify impact through strategic partnerships and coordinated action.

Children Left Behind
The migration of parents affects children deeply, creating emotional, physical, and learning challenges that demand our attention and support.
The Impact
Children left behind face emotional trauma, developmental delays, and educational challenges when parents migrate abroad for work.
Many experience psychological distress, poor academic performance, and social isolation that can affect their entire future.
Our Response
UOMU provides comprehensive support including bursaries, scholastic materials, and regular school monitoring to ensure children don't fall behind.
We offer counseling services and create support networks to help children cope with parental absence and maintain healthy development.
